5 Natural Face Masks for Dry Skin
On one side
where people of oily skin fight with excess oil and acne on face, on other side
people of dry skin fight with patchy, dry and irritated skin. Dry skin requires
proper exfoliation, moisturizer and toning, otherwise increases wrinkles and
fine lines on skin and texture of skin get dull. Instead of use heavy and
expensive market products, you can turn your dry skin into moisture and hydrate
by using few home ingredients from your kitchen cabinet. Here are some face
masks helps you to heal dry skin easily at home.
1. Sandalwood
powder, Almond Oil and Rose Water
Ingredients-
- 1 Tablespoon Sandalwood Powder
- ½ Tablespoon Almond oil
- 1 Tablespoon Rose water
Method of use- Mix all
ingredients well and make a fine paste
Clean your face
and dry skin with normal water. Apply paste on face and skin, leave it for 20
minutes. wash it off using lukewarm water.
Sandalwood
powder heals dry skin and makes it soft and smooth. It also reduces darkness of
the skin. Almond oil is good source of Vitamin E. It cures patchy skin and
makes it smooth. Rose water hydrates skin and also it is a good natural toner
for dry skin.
2. Banana, Honey and Almond oil
Ingredients-
- 1 Banana
- ½ Tablespoon Honey
- ½Tablespoon Almond Oil
Method of use- Take one whole
banana, smash it well. Mix almond oil and honey with smashed banana. Clean face
with plan water and apply mixture on it. Massage skin using your fingers for 10
minutes, leave it for 5 minutes. Wash it off with normal water.
Banana has wrinkle-fighting
nutrients which help to reduce age spots on face. It exfoliated, nourish your
skin. Honey is natural moisturizer. It moisturizes skin and makes it soft and
smooth. Almonds oil is best source of Vitamin E. It cures patchy skin and makes
it smooth.
3. Aloe Vera Gel and Honey
Ingredients-
- 1 Tablespoon of Aloe Vera Gel
- ½Tablespoon of Honey
Method of use- It is good
take aloe vera from your home garden. If you don’t have aloe vera at home the
use ready-made aloe vera gels from market. Cut a leaf of aloe vera, take its
inner pulp. Smash it well, add honey and mix it. Apply this mixture on face and
skin. Massage it using your fingers for 10 minutes and then leave it for 10
minutes. Wash it off using normal water.
If you have too
much problems of dry skin which irritated or have been itching of skin, then
aloe vera gel is best healer on it. Aloe vera not only hydrates skin but also
reduces wrinkles and fine lines on it. Honey is natural moisturizer. It
moisturizes skin and makes it soft and smooth.
4. Almond Powder, Honey and Rose water

- 1 Tablespoon almond Powder
- ½ Tablespoon Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Rose water
Method of use- Mix all
ingredients well and make a paste. Apply it on your clean face and skin. Leave
it for 20 minutes. Wash it off with normal water.

Rose water makes skin hydrate in winter. It is also a good natural toner.
5. Gram flour,
Turmeric and Milk Cream, Rose water
Ingredients-
- 1 Tablespoon Gram Flour
- Pinch of Turmeric
- 2 Tablespoon of Cream
- Rose water - as per requirement
Method of use- Mix all
ingredients well. Add milk if paste getting dry and make a fine paste. Apply it
on your face and skin. Leave it for 20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm
water.
Gram flour helps
to remove dead skin. It exfoliates skin, improves blood circulation and improves
skin texture. Turmeric has anti-
bacterial property. It heals acne, scars and other skin problems. Milk cream
nourishes and moisturizes dry skin deeply.
Note: Use
suitable face masks 2-3 times in a week.
